According to the Bengali newspaper The Daily Star, EU has recently eased the rules for shrimp export from Bangladesh. With the new rules, the Bengali exporters are no longer required to attach analytical reports with their shipments. However, the continuous inspections will ensure that only safe shrimps will be exported to European markets.
